Posts: 49 | Just seeing if anyone has had any luck over the past few days in shallow with the most recent cool down. Usually you see a few biggins get stuck during the first major cool down. Edited by bbradley1 9/11/2015 3:37 PM

Posts: 386 | No big ones for me, but I had the quantity part. Nothing was "super" shallow but the fish were more active on the rocks vs weeds. When I fish these rock spots, they top out no shallower than 4' and every fish was within or at boatside.

Posts: 1283 | No giant but I fished deeper all day and made my way shallow on the last pass. Had a upper 30s come blasting out of the weeds and miss on the turn almost landing in the boat. Lol scared the crap out of me.

Posts: 265 Location: Manitowish Waters WI | I netted the Muskie Classic open division winner over 5ft of thick weeds. 47.5. Lost another one 10ft from the net on a different lake same depth that was pushing 50. Saw 2 more mid 40s up in the thick stuff over the three days. Vilas county water temps were mid 60s.

Pic is of the smaller of two caught this morning. T-boned it in a foot of water. Super shallow has been hot for me the past week. several caught in the high 40's and low 50's. all over sand in 1 to 3 feet of water in the mornings. Big girls on the beach in September!!! my favorite. Attachments ---------------- 20150915_073945.jpg (59KB - 273 downloads)

Posts: 1249 Location: Walker, MN | I'm seeing fish in summer patterns yet, 8-12 f.o.w. with deep water egress. With cooler nights in the forecast, and decreased photo period, I'm expecting shallow movements within a few days. We shall see..
