Returning from Canada with a boat I was certain would never be clean again..I spot a truck wash (you can see from the bridge crossing over from Duluth to Superior) and spent $35.00 I'll never regret. See photo:

Marty, is that a DIY thing, or do they spray it for you?

Either way, THAT is cool. I don't mind the dirt so much, but it's a bear getting the bugs off my truck after a trip. I'm not sure what bug guts are made of, but I think it might be glue!

They need to put one of those at Youngs and in Warroad! Anyone know of a self-serve wash in Warroad?

I think BEST idea would involve young ladies in bikinis doing the washing.

Yea, the really red dust that forms a kind of clay comes from the dirt between Young's Bay and Warroad. The trick for me is that the DIY car wash places will not accept the width of my trailer. This was a full service deal, 35 bucks might seem high, but two guys spent close to 40 minutes on it. If you know what this dirt is like, you know how great I felt going the rest of the way home with a clean rig.

Perfect. Now if only the kids at Youngs would figure out the money making potential of a pressure washer at the access!

There is one in Warroad if you go straight past the light on 11 its on the left, been using it for years I can fit my Silverado 3500 Crew Cab w/ 8 ft. bed and my 1850 WX Skeeter in there
