my uncles stratos 386 XF seems to loose "grip" when pulling tubers and when turning. where the 150 pro xs is mounted there are two more holes it could be lowered. when motor is trimmed down the cavitation plate is an inch or two above the bottom of boat. should the motor be lowered? any help or feedback is appreciated. thanks, todd

More than anything esle, it's probably a prop issue. Pulling tubes and skiers may require a different prop.

I agree a prop change would likely help saving a lot of expense and trouble.

Prop issue. Hi Five props are great for tubing and skiing. Great hole shot. Usually go up a pitch from your current prop, and keep an eye on the tach.
