| For some reason, my whole question didn't post. Sorry! My question: Are titanium leaders worth the investment? Source to purchase them? |

Location: Elgin, IL | I love mine. They're a little pricey... but never had any failures, and a couple have been used for two years. Just remember the snaps/swivels aren't going to be as durable as the leader material itself, so replace them when they start to show signs of wear. |

Location: Woodstock, IL | I've used a couple of them and love 'em. They don't get the kinks that are characteristic of other leaders.
Buy one and see what you think. I've lost one or two due to a snapped line (not to mention the lure attached to it). This is tough to take considering they cost $10!
You can pick them up just about anywhere. Bass Pro, Cabela's, Rollie and Helen's, etc. |

Location: On the X that marks the mucky spot | Just go with the solid wire ones instead of the 7 strand. TI isn't a very bendable material and can be brittle when bent at sharp angles. I've had 7 strands break at the loop where your snap is. I've been running some I got from Thornes and Stamina for 2 seasons. Be sure to chance snaps several times over the year or get rid of then and go split rings.
