Posts: 287 Location: Oconomowoc, WI | Smokey's Muskie shop is hosting the Three Charlie's Muskie tournament on Saturday, Oct. 18. This tournament is different than most in that half of the money goes to the winners, and the other proceeds go back to the resource through stocking. Fishing from 7:30-3:00. $150 per team of 2. Three lines permitted with max one live bait. No motor trolling. Total inches on 2 fish. Judge-boats non-transport. Lunch included with entry fee. Door prizes! Awards ceremony 4:00 at Smokey's. Based on a full field of 50 boats, 1st-$2500, 2nd-$1000, 3rd-$250. 7:00 am rules meeting at Smokey's. Ease out from Smokey's in order of paid registration. Questions stop by the shop or call at 262-691-9659.

Posts: 1220 | I'm doing this one too, totally my kind of event, nice guys, friendly competition....and I think I can come out ahead on the free food even if I don't catch a fish. You guys from farther away should come to this one, Pewaukee should be absoulutely prime with fat fish, and it's great hanging out at Smokey's too, they always have stuff you don't see everywhere else.

Posts: 1036 | Wish I could be around for this tournament. Always a fun one to fish! But I'll be up north, probably ice fishing by that time...

Posts: 287 Location: Oconomowoc, WI | I'll second what Marty, aka Junkman said. We would love to see people come from distances. When we planned the event, we scheduled the rules meeting on Sat morning to make it easier for those far away. You can literally make it a one day thing and sleep in your own bed at night. Not to mention you'll leave with a full belly and probably a door prize. Hope to see many of you there. -Andy

Posts: 287 Location: Oconomowoc, WI | Despite rain and cold temps yesterday, we got 18 boats in the tourney. Although we were hoping for a bigger field, everyone had a great time. There were only two fish registered, a 41.75 and a 38.5. Just about every boat had a shot at fish, with a few of them being some really big ones. Was a real fishy day with rain, clouds and wind, but the fish didn't get the memo. Thanks again to everyone that participated. We will again be able to put in about 100 extended growth muskies with the proceeds. Congratulations to Justin Burmesch & John Donald on first place and Steve Berg for second. $1350 dollars were awarded in prize money. Thanks also to our sponsors: Smokey's Muskie Shop, Smokey's on the Bay, Tackle Industries, Hook N Look Tackle, Cutting Edge Outdoors and Stoffel Storage. Posts: 287 Location: Oconomowoc, WI | Here are a couple of pics from this past week's stocking. 100 extended growth muskies that ranged from 10" to almost 15" were stocked in Pewaukee. These muskies were purchased with proceeds from last year's Theee Charlie's Muskie Tournament. We'll be able to do about the same next season as well. Thanks to everyone that made this possible!
