I had one for a couple of years: then switched to a 620. the boat is closer to a newer 619 (08 newer) than a 620 (07 newer) in size and characteristics.

Pros: very fast, good ride, good storage esp rod storage, stable casting platform. handling was razor sharp and sporty and the harder you dove it the better it responded.

Cons: drifts nose first vs sideways, a bit narrow in the bow vs say a 620 , resale is not in the same league as the 620. It is not unusual for Tritons of that vintage to have some gel coat cracking here and there.

differences, the triton runs best in rough water by getting up on top of the waves vs blasting thru them like the 620, the triton gets it's speed partly from the narrower bow area but sacrifices standing room from the same narrowness.

In short: it was a nice well built boat that I enjoyed, I think most people would be very happy with one. If your at take off at a tournament only the bass boat guys will be able to get there faster....
