| Fished the Canadian side of LOTW the evening of 7/1 thru 7/4. We got 11 for 3 guys, lost a few others, screwed up a few more, saw 63 total. Biggest were 46, 47.5, 48.25, and a 52. The 52 was my new PB and I put a pic in the Big Fish contest.
One of the other guys moved a big fish on his first cast of the trip. Came in on big blades, which then set the tone for the rest of the trip. 9's and 10's were the ticket for the bigger fish. We caught fish on smaller blades, but all the bigger fish ate bigger blades. Big fish all ate around noon, except the 46 which was around 7p.m.
Ended the trip with one of the other guys catching a 41 and the boat owner falling victim to the spot lock feature while cleaning the board over the side. Fell right in the lake. Funny as hell. |
