I use an ultrasonic cleaner with a mixture of Simple Green/Windex/water in a 1:1:2 mixture (by volume). This works better than anything else I have tried. The ultrasonic cleaner is also good for rehomoginizing old paints that have tended to cluster with time.

Windex works great for me also---simple and easy.
