| was fishing wabigoon and eagle from 6/30 to 7/6
weather sucked one day it would be windy and overcast and 60 next day 90 and sun with no wind on and off. they took the the markers off wabigoon so it was a mine field
went to eagle wed - fri no muskies on either lake
just northern never realy had time to get comfortable on either lake the line at the border on saturday was 5 miles long took 3 hours |

| Sorry to hear that you had a tough trip, I hope things pick up soon, I'll be heading up there with my kid early next month so I hope the muskies change there attitude a little. |

| We were up on the 'goon during the same time frame and had a little luck. We caught 2 44's, a 41 and a 35.5 and about 20 pike from 30" to 37". Got to drink alot of Labatt Blue and Crown Royal so overall not a bad week.[:knockout:] The wind had the east end all clouded up and that made fishing very tough. Saturday morning was the best looking weather of the week but it just happened to coincide with the boat being on the trailer[;)] .

| Fished the Goon June 23-26, saw seven fish and lost a 50". Don't use fluorocarbon leaders. Caught a few nice pike up to 40". Quite a few markers were missing or out of place. Made it home though with the lower unit in tact. The 502 is actually in good shape. There was only two or three miles of gravel.
