| Hey guys. Just wondering if Spring lake near Peoria il is fishable during summer months. I know that the lake is very shallow and was just wondering if anyone targets muskies or what the water temps are this time of a year. And if not summer, is fall a good time to fish. Thx

| You can literally walk across on the weeds.

| You could fish in the fall until they shut the lake down for waterfowl hunting. You can look at the regulations on-line or get a paper version from about any bait shop. However, in the fall, the weeds may still be too high until the weather really cools down. In the spring, the weeds are below the surface and you can fish. There are, or were, horse power limits on the lake. So..........be sure to check the regulations. |

| True very weedy. And personally I wouldn't drive very far to fish it that time of year. But it can still be fished and fish can be caught. You just have to think outside the box as far as lures and presentation. Where are you considering driving from? |

| the good news is if you tried to walk across the weeds and fell through in most places your shoes and pants would get wet but your shirt would probably stay dry, it is that shallow
