When does the bucktail bite seem to get going in northern wisconsin? What is the big factor; water temp, season, height of weeds, other?

The bucktail bite here on Oneida county seems to be pretty consistent no matter the time of year or conditions. I have caught muskies from opener to close on bucktails on Pelican, Crescent, Boom, and other lakes in the area.

Right from opener to close depending on the lake.
