10” Headlock, 3 mph, front hole, 3 to 1 ratio, (per Duff Thury) 30/10, 45/15 feet down, add 4 feet for each hole back. 24' maximum diving depth. Headlocks are the most erratic thing you can put in the water. They work best in the warmer months of summer and into the fall. In general, they work better in the 3-5 mph range as this is where they are the most erratic. Depth/Line Out, 4/12--6/18--8/24--10/30--12/36--14/42--16/48--18/54--20/60. Good Luck, Tom

In general the 10" doesn't start to really "hunt" until the speed is above 3.7MPH. It being a wood bait, each one will be a little different.

I'd use 80 or 100# line. Had a friend break line and lose a Headlock on a fish with 65#.
