Heading up to leech this weekend, little worried its too early but better to go than not to go. Anyone got an early season tips up there or any tips in general. My brother has some good knowledge of the lake but always like hearing many opinions. Thanks!

Never to early.
Always better ski fishing before it opens.

Not saying you can't catch fish on Leech early, but I avoid it until early July.

I know of several nice fish caught already and a buddy had a two fish day yesterday. Still just slow followers for me so far, I have been too busy catching Walleyes this past week. It's almost time to go full-on Muskie mode! I had 65-67 degrees today and by the weekend it will be warmer. As far as location, start by finding the warmer water but don't be afraid to mix in those summer spots either. There are nice fish in every corner of this lake.
