Posts: 196 | I'm headed up to Dam lake the first weekend in June with a group of guys. A couple of us fish this area quite frequently and have our standby lakes that we fish frequent. A couple of the guys are lucky to get on the water a couple of times a year with a couple others have never been to northern Wisconsin. With that said, my question is what lakes would YOU take someone to that has never been to this area? PM me if necessary.

Posts: 397 Location: Wisconsin | the chain has good size and numbers, that is worth plenty of your time. If you merely want a morning or an afternoon worth of great action, go up to watersmeet lake... easy to fish in June, and you will get into action. Another suggestion is Gilmore & Carrol lakes, both are good size with great fishing Edited by WiscoMusky 4/1/2015 12:29 PM

Posts: 196 | had a great trip and thanks for those that offered suggestions. Ended up boating 4 fish, all from dark water lakes. My goal of getting my lil brother a muskie came up short but he had a half dozen chances and just couldn't connect. He had a heart breaker of a mid 40's come unpinned that I'm still cursing at myself for. He netted a couple of fish for me and I will never forget the look of excitement on his face. All in all it was a great weekend with a lot of memories made in the north woods. To the gentlemen that was staying next to us, if you see this, and are still up there, drop me a PM and I can share any info to help you out.
