Posts: 62 | Hi Guys, I would like to pose a question to all of you and get some opinions as well. Teaser Blades on Bucktails and Spinnerbaits - Yes or No? I have had more requests this year than in previous years for teasers. I have fished with them before on my spinnerbaits with some success but had limited success with them on in-line bucktails. What are your thoughts on teasers blades? Which to do prefer Colorado or Indiana? Why do you think they work? Thanks for your input. I am anxious to read your posts. Chris Drury VooDooTails Inc.

Chris, My father-in-law makes bucktails and started using brass teasers a couple of years ago. I now never fish a bucktail without one on. Last year in Canada the fish would not look at a regular bucktail, but were all over the teasers. Like anything, I'm sure there is a case for both in certain situations, but I am convinced they work. Shoot me an e-mail if you have any questions. [email protected] Matt

I'm nuts about musky fishing. Could you tell?

Posts: 135 Location: Elgin, IL | Good pic. Thanks Steve. Extra flash on a Tinsel Tail?...didn't think that was possible! I presume that adding the teaser blade was pretty simple? Mark

Posts: 32887 Location: Rhinelander, Wisconsin | Very easy, yes Do a wrap around the hook eye, and a tiny tie strap around the shaft of the hook, and there it is. The blade is attached using a snap and a crane swivel.
