| Heading up to a friends place around Macrae's Lake on Georgian Bay around Honey Harbour. Was wondering if anyone know's the area and what kind of fish are found here or if the fishing is good what techniques are good. I've never been to the area and my buddy doesn't fish so any help would be appreciated.
I'm hoping for maybe walleye or lakers. |

| There are no big fish there (turns head and winks) don't go there, its not worth your while. That body of water is dead and there are no fish!

Minnow, i have fished Honey Harbour for a long time and know the area very well....There is a wide variety of species to fish in the harbour, but it is very challenging, there are lots of shallows reefs to smah your motor on if you do not know where they are. Second, if the wind blows hard you are looking at 10fters coming at you, so you better know where you are...Other than that you have a chance at HUGE muskies and smallmouths... |
