For those that fish vermilion what cellular service do you have? My contact is up and looking at changing service. Mine can be hit or miss just wanted to know if any service works out on the lake or are they all hit or miss.

AT&T works fine for me on the west end of the lake.

I use Verizon and can get service in most places on the Lake... But .. ATT does work better up here.

I had Verizon and had terrible service on the west side. I spoke to Verizon who said they do not have a tower in the area and their service is very spotty. AT&T has proven to be the best service for me on Vermillion.

My dilemma exactly....I fish equally the Vermilion area AND eagle River WI area. Verizon is absolutely the best in Wisconsin where AT&T seems to be non-existent. In northern MN however, AT&T does just fine.
Solution....one phone with each. Business phone has Verizon.....personal has AT&T. (Still get overall best reception from Verizon tho !!).

AT&T tower is located on the south shore of Fraizer. That would be the way to go without a doubt.

I don't want service :)
How did we ever live in the olden days without service? Anybody still have a phone card?
