Posts: 194 Location: Lake Elmo, MN | I always keep my drain plug in my pickup. Well....I bought a new pickup and of course, lost the drain plug when I did. Can anyone tell me the size drain plug in a Ranger 620 ? I need a new one and there are several sizes available at West Marine. Thanks

Posts: 84 | My 620 has a plastic plug with a t at the end so when you unscrew it wont fall to the ground. Its plastic where it goes into also, hope this helps you. I would think any ranger dealer would have these.

Posts: 3518 Location: north central wisconsin | I don't believe that threaded plug is specific to Ranger, at least on mine it doesn't seem to be, as I purchased one at a non Ranger dealership once, when heading north on a trip. On another occasion, i took a piece of wooden dowel(stick to be exact) and wrapped a piece of walmart bag around it in an emergency situation where we lost the plug during a trip, and it didn't leak the entire three days we were there, pulling it out/replacing with a new threaded plug upon getting home. Ranger also has a good turn around for quickly shipping parts if you call, but I'd assume a marina in your vacinity will have one.

Posts: 194 Location: Lake Elmo, MN | That does not look like the OEM one but sure looks like it would work. West Marine has some, but there are 2 sizes. What I need to do is buy BOTH.....I mean they are only a couple bucks. Should not be this big a deal I guess. Good input here....THANKS ALL Edited by PSAGuy 5/9/2015 10:48 PM

Posts: 194 Location: Lake Elmo, MN | Got it ordered today direct from Ranger. Shipping it overnight. Figured I'd grab an aftermarket one for fishing this Friday but no need now. $6.99 each. I ordered 3 just in case.
