My trolling rig is a 21' glass boat with a Honda 150 four stroke out back. The I-Beam style trailer that its on does not have any way to mount a transom saver. I personally do not believe a boat needs one, as the pressure of running at 30 mph in water is much greater than any pressure that motor could force down even over a large bump. But I do want to get a motor support to use rather than the small metal clips that hold the outboard up. Has anyone ever used the m-ywedge support? Looks pretty simple and like it would do exactly what I was looking for.

I have a skeeter mx 1825 with a Yamaha F 150 on the back. It came with a my wedge. And my Crestliner CMV with a Yamaha F 150 came with one also no problems with either rig.

I like this one as well, just doesn't fit a Honda!

I've been using the wedge for three years now and really like the convenience of not crawling underneath the boat at the launch.

The plastic surround portion cracked lengthwise over a year ago, so I put 2 hose clamps on it and it's still going strong.
