| no they Won't hummingbirds can't read the chips that were made for lowrance and vice versa. |

My humminbird reads my lakemaster card.
Did you use it in a lowrance unIt? When i tried a chip from my lowrance in a hummingbird 899 it wouldn't work. I was told that lakemaster use to make different chips for each brand of gps. That's why my chip wouldn't work im the humminbird. |

Location: MN | Some Lakemaster chips work in both brands and some do not. I do not believe the new Lakemaster chips will work in Lowrance units because Humminbird bought Lakemaster. I believe the Onix takes the new chips so I don't think the chip that was in your Lowrance would work in it but you could always take your chip to a store and put it in an Onix unit that is on display to test it. |
