Posts: 791 Location: WI | A big price tag is relative these days. I had the pleasure of having my booth next to Brian and Ted from baby beaver at th wi show. I had the opportunity to see first hand the amount of work that goes into these baits. Not to mention the materials. There is a lot of hair tied onto each bait. This is a top quality bait with an action like nothing else that in my opinion is worth the price. And yes I bought one at full price.

I understand your point here and can appreciate the hard work that goes into making any bait. My point is when i lose a lure $5 or $500 dollars that is my money on the bottom of the lake. I'm not at all trying to say that they are overpriced. Just wondering if anyone is "tearin-em-up" with them.

Posts: 20258 Location: oswego, il | I make my own lures. I can appreciate the time and effort that goes into these baits. The price tag reflects the time and effort. The bait looks even better in the water. Worth the price? Think about how much we spend on musky fishing. To the two people who have asked if it is worth it and the other who mocked it, I ask, what rods, reels, electronics, boats, tow vehicles and sunglasses do you have?

"pure unadulterated, undulating Beaver action!" That sellers description alone has me sold!

Posts: 1150 Location: Minnesota. | Loved that vid. at around the 2:50 sec. mark...really good looking fish air-born! I'd like one - or two - but I have a handful of other baits that need wearing out first! And being (a young) 65, I don't have that much time left as it is. Cool looking bait though.

Posts: 81 | I did pick up one of these at the Chicago Show and can't wait to try it. One thing it has that is hard to see in the pictures is the insert in the bottom of the head for screwing in weights. Definitely makes it much more versatile.

Posts: 20258 Location: oswego, il | I finally got a chance to look at one really close. Alot of specialty pieces in this bait! Not just hair and wire. You have to admire the work and and.design effort that went into it!
