| Haven't seen anyone talk about the mess of untangling flashbou skirts on bucktails. Other than using a fork anyone got a better method of bringing them to orginal state? We do hang them after use so it's possible, after you dig the top hook free. Anything to do to keep them from getting this way?

Location: MN | One thing I do to help keep the top hook from tangling in the first place is to put some epoxy in the crevice of the treble, where the 3 individual hooks start to separate. Or I will run a short piece of shrink tube up as high as it will go and that also prevents the strands from getting down in the cracks |

Location: Lake "y" cause lake"x" got over fished | Heat shrink tubing helps with tangles on tails. But if the tail is already "built" and that is not possible I use electrical tape, the stretchier the better. But it works great |

Location: Poynette WI. | When storing some of mine that tend to get tangled up or the flash likes tends to curl up, like a lot of pearl color flash seems to do, I wrap some pipe cleaners around them and hang them up. My daughter had a lot of the fuzzy craft like pipe cleaners with the twist tie like wire inside them. Anyways I'll just lay the flash down and gently wrap that around it a few times. |
