Posts: 255 | Watching the chicken video made me think of when we took our musky tackle and tried to snag ice floes in the spring at college. Good battles on the river. Boredom has led to 'dock casting' many times and snagging stumps helps to get a good hookset thrill once in a while. What are the most desperate things you do after 10 or more hours of bad fishing? And don't say April/May pike fishing with DC's.

Posts: 109 | Got the bright idea to catch a snapping turtle we saw so we could eat it. Was fun until we got home at 9 or 10 at night after fishing 12 hours and not catching a fish. We then had to clean that turtle. It was not so fun cleaning it.

Location: Sawyer County, WI | I don't think too much about musky fishing unless there's something new going on. As mentioned in another thread, I've acquired quite a bit of trolling equipment so I'll be practicing trolling. I'll be hitting the toy stores this weekend to see if I can find the right boat to run off my planer boards.

Posts: 815 Location: Waukee, IA | I brew beer in the winter. It's a good use of my Bio degree and it is it's own reward. I guess the only muskie related thing I do is scour the Midwest for clearance lures as I travel for work. Got a NIB walleye colored pounder for $6.73 a few weeks back.
