Location: Madison, WI | Anyone ever put this bag on a Beckman mag fin saver hoop? I know the drifter xl fits nicely but the Frabill is 6" deeper. Just wondering because i dont want it to be too sloppy

I just did that about a month ago. The bag is really stiff so I have it hung up horizontally with a few ropes in the basement and have the bag filled up with sleeping bags to open it up which seems to be working. The bag fits fine but that is a very stiff bag. I hope some of the flexibility goes away or I am not sure I will like it.
I hope this helps and enjoy your day.

| You will be happy for the stiff netting when a fish with a face full of trebles decides to spin like a top in that net |

Location: Walker, MN | Does anyone know if this Frabill net bag would be less prone to black marks on my white fiberglass boat than the beckman net bag? |

Location: Thief River Falls MN | My Frabill does not mark glass. Had a stowmaster that was terrible for marking though. I think the nets that mark are kind of the exception, not the norm. I think the coating on the Stowmaster had something going on as it was cracked all over. Bad rubber or improper dip? |

Location: Hayward, WI | Regarding the stiff net bags, I put a good size cooler in mine for a while to stretch it out a little, mostly to keep it open when netting fish.
Don't worry though, they certainly relax pretty quickly. Mine is pretty pliable now. The slightly stiffer, thicker netting and heavy rubber coating makes the bag heavier than a Beckman, but is also very tangle free and hook proof. I like mine. Durable too. Mine must be 10 years old now and still going strong. |
