Location: Rhinelander, Wisconsin | Slow and steady, and the rougher the better. I do well on calm days too, but they seem to just eat the thing when there is a good chop. I like the tail to rotate twice one direction, pop, and twice the other. Takes some tuning. I like the bait for any waters, but she shines on clear water. Smitty has a great model, give him a yell. |

Location: Rhinelander, Wisconsin | Here are the ones I have in my box and on the mantle, all old old baits. There is a Dog Turd, an original Snodlow ( the goldish one), a Tufftail, and a Large Turd.

Location: Lafayette, IN | Steve, I'm not up on the full gamut of musky lures so all these funny names don't mean much to me......yet. But I noticed that your lures resemble a bait made by Poe's called the "PoeTail". Have any experience with one? My son bought one at Muskego point a couple of years ago out of the discount box and it looks like it could produce. It doesn't have the trailer hook though. Thanks! |
