Has anyone ever fished devils lake in north Dakota for pike? All the stuff I find online is mainly guys going after smaller pike with light equipment.

yes I have, its been a while but I lived up there for almost two years - the lake was full of pike... most small to what I'd call medium size (10-12lbs) .....although every spring many 36-40" fish are caught around ice out (and late ice for that matter) on dead bait...locals will do this right off the roads and near bridges. Lots of flooded trees.
