Location: New Jersey | I'm moving in a few days and was thinking of storing all my gear in my garage, but it's not heated. I live in New Jersey, so we do have some temp swings. Wondering if the temp changes are hazardous to rods, lures and electronics. Anyone? |

| I am lucky enough to have a heated shop, so all rods and reels come inside as well as graphs. Lures can stay out in the Minnesota cold...only -42 with the wind chill this morning. |

Location: Detroit River | I seen a fishing show some years back that said rods should be stored vertically during the winter to prevent warping. Not sure if that's true or not. |

This is an excellent question! Can one of the electronics whiz's please address this. I know they have gotten allot better over the years. You don't hear about screen separation much anymore. But allot of guys want built in units and want to leave them in the boat. |
