I think it ends tomorrow, but they never posted the best in show poll.

I'm sorry but I am very disappointed by this whole thing.

I was at the show Sunday afternoon. What time did they take the baits down. Half of the reason I drove 2 hours to the show was to see these baits. And there the booth sat empty. I'm sorry that was the only time I could make it to the show but I don't understand why if the show goes til three the baits can't be displayed until then.

This is not a slight against Muskie first or any of it affiliates but rather a plea to make this something big. If they want me and many of the other custom guys to enter they need to get things going in the right direction.

I hope that the admins here understand what I am trying to say.

That's nice to hear! That just made my decision to enter again easier.

I would like to see the vote totals for every contest posted. Including both shows, online and the panel of professional judges.

I've been reading these post and the displeasure some of you have. Quality builders and quality baits should get some recognition. If a bait maker ran the contest we may see a different type of outcome. When I say bait maker, I don't mean someone who twists up a few buck tails here and there. I'm talking someone who's spent 30 hours on a single bait, and cries on the way to to post office when he mails it to the guy who bought it . Long story short, in many respects we appreciate our work much more that the average non-building musky guy, so we expect more from a "lure building contest"

I've never entered a bait in a contest and only observed the Milwaukee display once. That year I was impressed with the way it was displayed. I wasn't sure how it was handled post show. Since the contest more or less originated from this forum, an auction should be held on here...Kind of like Lisa's auction if you remember. Voting can be done any where. I wouldn't really care about any trophies, but if my bait went for $100 at an auction...

Edit: For all I know bait makers do run the contest...should have made that point clearer. From an outsider to this contest, it doesn't appear that way however.
