I have a problem where when I deploy the trolling motor, the little spring loaded bars don't seem to be spring loaded anymore. So when I put the trolling motor in gear, it lifts up out of the water. Anyone know how to fix that? Kinda hard to explain.

If that spring is not broken, I grease/WD-40 mine every once in a while. Or replace the spring, I haven't had to do that yet so i have no idea how labor intensive it is.
