i have a 125 merc on a 1775 pro v and a wrecked my prop this week end and was looking on some input on what i should replace it with the one i have now is alum with a 21 pitch

I would put a Mercury  Tempest or Lazer 3 blade stainless on the 125. Better performance, and better durability overall.

I agree with Steve on a Mercury Stainless prop. I would however use a Tempest or a Trophy as the Lazer was not the most efficient prop Mercury made. A good way to get it right the first time is to call or e-mail the boat manufacture and ask them. Most major boat manufactures test their boats with a lot of different props and can probably tell you which one is right for your needs. Don't forget if you go to stainless you may be able to raise your engine height on the transom and run more pitch and maintain the same rpm's.
