Has anyone used self-etching primer as a base coat for blades prior to painting?
If so any brand recommendations?
Thanks in advance for any input!
Best,

Thanks.
Where do you buy it? Any tips on use? Do you rough the blades up first still?
Thanks again

I scuff them with a red scuff pad and spray with a paasche single stage external mix gun. As long as you keep the gun clean it's not too bad.

Lessonal is a automotive brand that I get at my local auto paint supply. It's white and covers nice. Also it allows you up to 7 days to spray over before it has to be sanded. I do from 6-60 baits at a time and just give a light scuff if a few days pass before I spray. For blades you will have to reduce it a bit.

if you use the correct prime theres no scuffing involved.
