| I was wondering if I should heat the tip and turn it straight or take it off and glue it on again. What should I use for glue? Also wondering if I should just leave it be. Is it important that the tip is straight?
Thanks,

| There is a hot glue you can buy to reset it. Heat it, take it off, heat the glue, rub some on the rod tip and reset the tip in the right orientation. |

| How much is it out of line ? on my 2 piece rods the top half often, get a bit out of line when casting heavy baits, and i haven't noticed any difference in performance, so i don't even correct it any more during the day. |

| It is like an 1/8 of a turn from being straight. I will warm it slightly and straighten it. Thank you everyone. |

Location: South-Central PA | Be VERY careful applying heat! You can ruin the tip very quickly- a second or two of too much heat and you're done. I would not advise doing this without taking the tip off and re-gluing it on. I use 5 min epoxy.
