I just finished making this one for a friend and I really like the design of this one. It's 5 1/2 in but I have no doubt that pike and maybe even some Muskie will attack this lure. Completely thru wire construction

Have you tried it? Looks great but that blade on a ball bearing swivel will kill the action. It does on the tail of any crankbait. Put it on a couple split rings.

ToddM, thanks for your help I was doubting it would change the action but you were right it really does affect the action. I threw 2 split rings on instead, I really noticed a difference

When the blade spins it creates much more drag and will straighten the action. Now with the split rings it will flop and flash which I am.sure what you were going for. Been down this road. Cool bait, hope your buddy likes it.
