How did you do out there on the water this last weekend? What were the conditions, the hot presentations, and the results?

Skunked on Webster. Water temps were in the high 40s, water still extremely stained/murky. On the backwaters, water temps were in the 50s (saw as high as 55), but visibility was even worse than on webster. Does webster have such poor visibility all year? The air temps were in the 50s but the 10-20mph winds kept it feeling a bit colder than that. Not so much as a follow.

Heard reports from another boat that caught a small one trolling, and they saw another boat catch one trolling.

Got skunked, had one hit a punisher glider and missed the hooks. had another hot on the sucker. Slow and cold, strong north wind did not help either. temps were 48-51.

T.B Nice job on the walldos!

This was a weekend of BIG,, HUGE,, fish lost,
Fished 3 lakes this weekend, only 1 of which had ski's and landed 2, (not big), landed also about 50 bass, no biggie. BUT I had my 1st striper encounter, holy crap can those dudes run! I did not get her, but may have found yet one more love, cant wait till the next one! I also had on what was at least a 50lbs flathead, again I lost it, unbelievable.

Why is score card stuck at 197?

Flatheads are cool fish. They fight like a pick-up truck, look prehistoric, and 'slime' the line for yards sometimes.

One of my trips this year is going to be the Red River for cats, and the Mississippi , too.
