Looking for a large arbor 10wt reel for a muskie setup and trying to stick around $150 if possible or less. For you fly guys what would be some recommendations that still offer quality and a good service life?

Check out Allen fly reels, they are pretty cost effective. You do not need an awesome drag for muskie. BR

Sage 2210. Right at your price point. Good customer service. Available everywhere. Killer drag system if you do put a fish on the reel or if you wanna use it for something else. Cheap, available extra spools.

I've used an Okuma Integrity for 6 or so years. It's a great reel for the price and has a really smooth drag. The only downside is that it's not the lightest, but if I remember right I bought the reel and a spare spool for under $100

I use Lamson Guru in a size 4.0. Works well for me.

Lamson Konic is around that price. I've talked to guides at the local fly shop that use them.

I use a Ross CLA 5. Great reel and when you need to bump her to take up extra line on the take she spins really nicely.

Forgot the actual cost but it' around there. Hard to beat a Ross Reel!

Another vote for the Sage 2210.

As others have said, a Lamson or Sage would be a good choice. They both have sealed drags and function well. However, I will say that the Sage reels don't seem to sit on my non-Sage rods as well as the Lamsons do. So if you have a Sage Rod, then both will work. If you have another brand of rod, I would probably lean towards the Lamson.

looking at the Sage right now or any idea on the Clearwater series by Orvis? very reasonable price and seem to have good reviews.

Orvis makes some nice products...I haven't used the Clearwater series, but I've had the old DXR reels on my steelhead rods for years and love them. I use the Batenkills on my trout rods and they're great too.

I put an Airflo off-set reel on my 10 weight but I'm pretty sure there will be a Lamson or Ross on there next summer!
