Love My Etecs. Wouldn’t buy anything else. Sad they Discontinued. I will run mine till it dies, Or I Do!

First year they came out, I was asked as a Pro-Staffer to run this engine, and report my findings. Had about 2,300 hours after 3.5 years, but wanted to step up in power. Went to a 115 from a 90HP. No problems, other than Changing plugs 2-3 times a year. Was putting about 650 hours on engine a season. 2-3 sets of plugs was no problem for me as the amount of hours I was running. Indexing Plugs was simple once you learn how. Ask the techs to show you this procedure. Don’t buy your plugs from the Marine dealer. Go to a Napa or Autozone. About $6 cheaper a plug!

The hard water here in SE Wi. Does a number on water jackets W/ 4 strokes, W/ calcium and lime deposits. The etec’s, 2 stroke, Zero Problems with water flow!

They are So Easy to Winterize Head! A few Maneuvers with throttle Arm you’re set. Very quiet and fuel efficient!

I told all my friends about this engine, and they ALL loved Them!

Buy W/ Confidence….IMO
