I am looking to possibly upgrade my bow mount trolling motor. Been running the cable drive maxxum 74 thrust for the last 18 years and getting older and tired of standing on one foot most of the day. Looking to stay with Minn Kota but switch to electronic steering.
What model would you get and why? Any reason to stay away from a particular model?

I run a 2004 Lund Explorer 1600 SS and prefer to be over powered so likely an 80 thrust, 24v.

Seems my options are Ulterra or Terrova. I have been a Lowrance guy but will likely upgrade electronics to whichever works better with the unit.

Any info is appreciated, thx!
