I'm running a Merc 115 Pro on my 1775 Impact. Boat runs low to mid 40s with all the power I need. I fished Erie with it the last 2 years with no problems. All the power needed to run big water. Great on in land as well . Not bad on fuel either. I had a choice between Merc and Honda from the Lund dealer. Honda was considered but I got a 5yr warranty on the Merc. That, along with there being only one Honda dealer for service in my area vs 6 or 8 for Merc was what tipped the scale to Merc for me.
