| I think I would choose based on where you can get it serviced. Neighbor has a Yamaha on his pontoon and is having an intermittent issue with it. No local dealer, has to haul it 60 miles to nearest dealer. On the other hand, the dealer that sold my Suzuki new on a Lund Pro V no longer carries Suzuki and won't even winterize them, so I drive 35 miles for service. The story was that they liked the Suzuki, but when Lund was purchased by Mercury's parent company, they switched to Mercury only. At least during the warranty period, you will need to have service done by an authorized dealer. | |
