I have a 2001 1750 fish hawk and I have a 2000 evinrude 9.9 four stroke long shaft on it and it works great, Pushes the boat with two guys and all the gear at 6.5 mph on a gps.
Your not going to set any records with it but it's great for trolling all the way down to .5 mph.
