If you read your manual for your outboard, it says the same thing. I check several times a season, but if I hear strange noises, I pull the prop. This schedule would also depend on where you are fishing. Large reservoirs that are deep, I would say no need unless you get up shallow a lot. LSC, I would probably not check all year.
I live on a shallow chain, so will be checking it much more often than I have in the past. Really like the Ulterra, but don't want to be buying a new one any time soon. |
