We had one on a work boat for a bit over a year and I was not impressed. It was slow, loud, threw a couple relays, and ended up grinding off the screw actuator.

In commercial use the past 10 years, hydraulic ones have been more reliable and outperformed the Powrtran. We've had excellent success with jackplates from Bob's Machine. Not a single issue with the three we've gotten and all components are integral to the plate - no mounting accessories except for the switch.
