Motor height has to be diagnosed on plane at ideal trim. If the cavitation plate is below the water line, it is too deep and the motor needs to be raised. This will help hole shot, top speed, and increase rpm’s since drag is reduced. The other mentions in this thread can’t be ignored, but performance is not a one stop shop.
