| I charge after every use (unless they were barely used). Mostly so that I don't ever forget where they are at in their charge level, and sometimes it can be much longer before the next use, than I had anticipated. Three different boats over 30 years. Current batteries are 8 years old and last as long as when I got them(24 volt system-standard name brand deep cycle). Only time I ever wrecked batteries, was with my first boat, before I put an on board charger on it, and would forget to hook a charger up right away, and then not use it for a while. | |
