Location: oswego, il		Mine are Lowrance and I did it with an SD card. Downloaded from the website put it on the card, placed the card in the map slot and turned on the unit. It prompts you from there. If you have an older lowrance you need an SD card 1 gig or smaller which means you will have to buy one online, they don't sell them that small anymore in stores.
