I would pay good money to see someone at 260 standing on a finder. Can we test this when the water is 35 degrees? The ram will slip, the case will break, and the angler goes in the water. I’ve never seen any ram mounts NOT slip. Wrench, no wrench, hair spray on the balls, cleaning the sockets with isopropyl alcohol, nothing keeps them from moving. The neoprene will hold for about 6 months, but once it cracks, there goes all stability. Ask any guide that fishes any reasonable size water if they run ram mounts and why they don’t.
