I've been trying to figure out what to mount my Helix 8 with. I have a 2008 Pro Guide, so it has the old style compartment for the electronics, like the Pro V tillers had. I would like an articulating mount, that I could pull/rotate out of the compartment, to get it a little closer and to make sure the GPS works because with the internal GPS antenna, I'm not sure it will work well inside the compartment. I'm not able to tell if any of the ones I've been looking at, will work in there. almost have to order them, try them, and return. Don't want to do that. Might just have to mount on top, and disconnect and put away each time. You might like some of the ones I've found, for your application.
