If you ceramic coat over imperfections, they are not going to be masked by a coating. A polisher is used to prep paint or glass for a coating, not to apply a ceramic coating. Chicago Auto Pros on YouTube have a lot of relevant information on coatings and prep. Most importantly, coat a clean surface. Alcohol prep wiping is a must. Look for one with a 9h hardness if you want the best consumer grade product.
