i would think the contour trolling would be awesome with the terrova in if you had link. let the kicker push and the terrova steer along the line that you're fishing? 6.5 is quite fast from what i gather though, and i could definitely see that imparting a lot of stress at those speeds.


It doesn’t react quickly enough. You are either buried in the weeds or too far from where you desire while contour trolling. The only thing the trolling motor is good at IMO while trolling is keeping the boat straight so you don’t end up having to reset board lines. I can troll much more accurately with a tiller than I can with the trolling motor, even if using record a trail or link.
