Just a thought on the charger. Why not get a three bank charger, charging the trolling batteries and the starting battery at the same time? When I replaced the factory charger in my older Pro V, that was what I did and it works very well. I live on a small chain of lakes so my big motor doesn't run for that long, and this way I know the starting battery, which also powers my electronics is fully charged as well as trolling.
Was actually thinking about that last night and will probably do that. I fish smaller waters and much less frequently these days so it would be nice to get a 3rd bank. |
